Before a web designer starts building a website. He or she needs to gather information first, such as target market research, goals, and visitors demographic for  the site. Then build a foundation by creating a staging server where you can upload your test pages. Create a coming soon page and include a lead capture form for subscriptions. Then create the layout of the website. Do some wire frame and PSD mock-ups.
